[Health and Wellness Initiatives] Third Physical Fitness Assessment Held
During the third physical fitness assessment, employees participated in InBody measurements, grip strength tests, and seated forward bend tests.
This session also introduced the seated forward bend as a new assessment category.
Difficulty performing the seated forward bend may indicate tight hamstrings, the muscles located at the back of the thighs. Tight hamstrings can contribute to poor circulation and may lead to water retention in the lower body.
The forward bend test is one indicator of overall flexibility, and improved flexibility helps promote healthy circulation. Better circulation allows nutrients to be distributed more efficiently throughout the body, which may aid recovery and help reduce fatigue.
Following this assessment, we hope to continue sharing information on improving flexibility through stretching and other activities, while encouraging more employees to make stretching part of their daily routine.
